This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and AED courses.
- Pre-class Requirements: Instructor candidates must have a base-level CPR certification. After registration, email a copy of your certification to CPRfirst314@gmail.com—this is a prerequisite for the class. Additionally, this is a blended learning course that consists of online content, a pre-course skill session, and a classroom segment. Complete the online material before attending classroom activities. You will receive the link to the pre-course work information within 24 hours of registration.
- Instructor Materials: Digital materials for instructing classes are provided through ARC at no additional cost, including the Instructor Manual and Course Presentations. A digital, or hardcopy, of the Instructor Manual is required to participate in this course. Hardcopy manuals are optional and may be purchased through the American Red Cross, or you may print your own copy.
This is a blended-learning course consisting of online content, a pre-course skills session, and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities. Please watch your email closely for the forthcoming confirmation of your class enrollment. Check your SPAM regularly, as information for the online content and class will be sent to you.
Lastly, before the class, email your up-to-date CPR certification to CPRfirst314@gmail.com. If you need to renew your CPR certification, notify CPR First to arrange a renewal course.
